Candidates for Part I and/or II  should send in their application documents by email to the Director or Vice-Director of the IFEPAG.

Confirmation email will be sent to the applicant. However, the applicant has the responsibility of providing correct email address.

The following documents are requested:

For those who have completed 2 years of training in the FIGIJ’s approved centers:

  • An Application Form. It is available on this Website;
  • The certificates, or documents listed in the Application Form;
  • Certificate/letter issued by the training center; The Certificate/letter issued by the training center should indicate if the candidate is qualified to sit for Part I, Part II or both parts of IFEPAG.
  • 10 PAG clinical cases for Part I examination, and another 10 PAG clinical cases for Part II examination.
    • These clinical cases should be certified by a senior physician on their authenticity. (See “Outline for case presentations”)
    • In word or pdf format
    • Label each file with Part I case 1, Part I case 2 and so forth; and Part II case 1, Part II case 2 and so forth
    • Can send the 10 Part I cases in one file or separately in 10 files; but one file is preferred. The same apply to 10 Part II cases.
    • Clinical photos are not necessary
  • A letter of acceptance of the IFEPAG requirements and  of acceptance to pay for travel and accommodation expenses at the Examination Centre, and of acceptance of health insurance costs and other expenses incurred by the candidate.
  • Bank transfer payment of the registration fee.

For those who have not obtained training in the FIGIJ’s approved centers:

  • It is understandable that some candidates may not be able to obtain training in FIGIJ’s approved centers for various reasons, such as:
    • No FIGIJ’s training center in their country
    • Not able to complete 2 years of training in an overseas FIGIJ’s training center
  • The examination panel will review the PAG experience of the potential candidates in their training center by one of the following methods:
    • The annual PAG case load of the center for 3 consecutive years
    • A 3 months logbook of the potential candidates, either retrospective or prospective. A sample of the logbook can be downloaded here.
  • A prior approval from the IFEPAG examination panel is needed before the application
  • After approved by the IFEPAG examination panel, the application follows the above section (For those who have obtained training in the FIGIJ’s approved center).

*Late submission or incomplete documents (including the payment) at the time of submission would not be allowed to participate the examination.

Registration Fee.

The examination registration fee is US$200 for either Part I or Part II examination, or US$350 for both Part I and Part II examinations. If one fails in any Part I or II examination, or both Part I and II examinations, and re-sit the examination within 2 years, the registration fee would be US$150 for either Part I or Part II examination, or US300 for both Part I and Part II examinations. The examination fee should be paid on or before the Registration deadline of the examination. All fees are paid in American dollars.
