IFEPAG I will assess comprehensive clinical knowledge of pediatric and adolescent gynecology, including childhood and puberty in general, and of bio-psycho-social and reproductive health in particular.
It will consist of an initial theoretical exam with 50 multiple-choice questions. The examination will last for ONE hour. Having passed this exam (60% correct answers), the candidate can take part in Part II Written examination, if he/she has applied to take Part II examination.
IFEPAG II will assess surgical knowledge in the area of pediatric and adolescent gynecology.
It will consist of a second written examination on pathology and special surgical techniques with 50 multiple-choice questions. The examination will last for ONE hour.
Having passed the Written examination(s), the candidate can sit the Oral part of the examination. Knowledge and management of the submitted clinical cases will be assessed by the Examination Board.
These procedures should be guaranteed by a senior physician to certify their authenticity.
Online Written Examination
Candidates who are approved to take the online written examination will be given a password, which gives them a pre-test and an opportunity to try the platform. The pre-test will generally be held about 1-2 weeks before the online examination. Candidates who pass their online examination are ready to take their oral exam.
During the online written examination, all candidates are also required to connect with another platform 15 minutes before the examination and show their name. All candidates are required to turn on their camera without any virtual background, so that the camera can show that they are taking the examination on their own. All candidates must turn on the camera throughout the examination, failing to do so will be disqualified.
